Antique Plus was founded by Dr. Eskandar ‘Alex’ Yermian in 1986. Alex received doctoral degrees in Architecture and Monumental Restoration from the University of Florence and the University of Rome. He often recounted his experiences and love for Italian culture. Upon graduation, he returned to his native Tehran, Iran, where he became a renowned city developer and architect. Due to political hostilities and persecution, Alex and his family fled to Italy. After living in his favorite country for a few years, he moved to West Los Angeles and established Antique Plus to follow his love for finding treasures and rare gems from all over the world.
